About Me

Hi, I’m Atefeh! I’m an HCI researcher, UX designer, and storyteller who loves turning complex problems into clear, human-centered experiences. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Information and Communication Sciences at Ball State University, where I focus on AI, user experience, and research. I’ve designed digital products in healthcare, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support children with special needs and their caregivers, and I now focus on inclusive products for diverse users, including children, older adults, and people with disabilities. I’m especially interested in how AI, augmented reality, and virtual reality can support accessibility, mental health, and learning. When I’m not designing or crafting stories about technology and people, I’m usually out for a run, trying a new recipe, or lost in a good book.
